Heaven Takes out Top Chef Award in Trans-Tasman Competition
Kiwi chef Sam Heaven has proven he is a champion in the kitchen, after fending off tough competition from leading young chefs around New Zealand and Australia to win the coveted annual Nestlé Golden Chefs Hat Awards.

Kiwi Kids Can Cook At Home

The 2020 Grand Final was held at the Seafood School at the Viaduct Harbour, in Auckland, on Sunday 8 November. It was held on a wonderful early summer day, with competitors brimming with excitement. Competitors cook a savoury dish in a heat and then another dish in the final; each dish must contain a minimum of three vegetables. There are two classes; Years 1-6 and Years 7-8.
